Pig & Deer Hunting

Day Walks
There are plenty of day walks ranging from all day walks to just a couple of hours.
These tracks are well looked after from DOC along the way you will see flowing rivers and hear amazing bird song.

Whirinaki has some great options for mountain biking, from short rides for the whole family to the more advanced Moerangi 36km ride through some of the best untouched forest in the world!

Personal Locator Beacon
- Consider hiring a personal locator beacon (PLB) for peace of mind - $20 per one day, then $10 per day thereafter.
Shuttles
We offer fully licensed quality shuttle services from our premises, with free vehicle security, for both mountain bikers and trampers into the beautiful Whirinaki Forest Park.
Most roads to the walking tracks are gravel roads and are in reasonable condition but occasionally they are quite rough with a lot a pot holes. Our shuttle van is equipped to handle these conditions.
